Nature's Splendor Sample
Nature's Splendor is an audio and visual experience that focuses on the beauty and majesty of the natural world.
The presentation is a collection of photographs I have taken over 30 years of outdoor adventure pursuits, such as mountain climbing, backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing.
The photographs are set to music and provide an opportunity to relax, reflect, and enjoy the splendor of the natural world.
The music is composed and performed by Rebekah Lambert. Rebekah is a fellow Baylor Bear and daughter of one of my best friends, Dr. Carie Tucker King. Rebekah earned her under undergraduate degree in Piano Performance and is working towards her masters degree in Collaborative Piano.
The inspiration for Nature's Splendor was seeing Dr. Norman "Buddy" Gilchrest and Tresa Gilchrest's photographical and musical presentation "The Wonder of It All."
Nature's Splendor has been presented at conventions, schools, churches, and to various outdoor groups.
Nature's Splendor has two program lengths: 14 minutes and 20 minutes.
